Village Gardens homes are situated in a richly diverse neighborhood next door to the expansive Sam Smith Park and near the East Portal View. Avid bicyclists love this neighborhood for its easy access to the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trail, and Lake Washington Bike Loop.

Residents of this neighborhood have access to numerous parks and cultural amenities such as the Northwest African American Museum. Other parks in the neighborhood include the Jimi Hendrix and Judkins Park/Playfield, Seattle Children’s PlayGarden, the Bradner Gardens Park, and the Colman P-Patch Community Gardens.

Within walking distance are Golden Wheat Bakery and QED Coffee, the Heyday Bar and Restaurant or That’s Amore Italian Café.  Lake Washington waterfront businesses, dining and parks are a short distance away.

Students at Village Gardens will attend Leschi and Thurgood Marshall Elementary Schools, Washington Middle School, and Franklin and Garfield High Schools.
